3A Sponsored Walk - Haiti Earthquake Appeal 

As part of their CSPE course 3A decided to have a sponsored Walk in aid of the Haiti Earthquake Appeal. Sponsorship cards were produced at €2 per line. Before the walk permission was received from the Gardai and posters were prepared on the geography, history and effects of the earhquake. The walk commenced at 11.30 at th Golf Links Road and the total length of the walk was 8 km which we had completed by 1.15pm in time for break. Mrs. Mc Namara, Ms Conway along with CSPE teacher Mr Mullen also participated in the walk. See picture below of Class 3A with a speaker from GOAL.
